Indianapolis Colts vs Chicago Bears 2012 NFL Week 1 Point Spreads
For people that think LeBron James had it bad when it came to hype and expectations, get a load of No.1 overall NFL pick, Andrew Luck.
This guys doesn’t only have to live up to the pressures of being drafted as the best player in a talent-stacked NFL draft class, but he also has to justify the Indianapolis Colts’ reasoning for parting ways with one of the top-three quarterbacks of all time in order to bring him in.
However, make no mistake about it, Luck isn’t the only one who will have his feet held to the fire if this thing falls through.
One can be certain that Colts owner Jim Irsay will also be under an extreme amount of pressure and scrutiny after shipping away Peyton Manning in order to draft Luck.
But realistically, how much success can Colts fans expect the Stanford grad to have in his first year as a pro?
Well, the answer to that remains to be seen, of course. But having that said, one thing is certain: the 22-year-old, two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up isn’t going to have any warm up games.
The Indianapolis Colts will open the 2012 NFL season on the road by taking on one of the fiercest defenses in the league in the Chicago Bears and in one of the toughest environments in all of football!
According to the latest 2012 NFL Week 1 Point Spreads, Luck and the Colts are projected to get brownout in the opener, as oddsmakers list the Bears as -10-point favorites. In addition, the OVER/UNDER for this must-see encounter is set at a combined total of 41 points.
